Hello Everyone...

Hi everyone...

Some of you may know me from the S2Forum where I've been a member since 2007 after I picked up an early ex dealer demo 3B S2.

Prior to that I'd driven a 1992 2.3 10V FWD Coupe since 2002, I finally retired that car in 2011 after over 100K miles of trouble free motoring on just over 260K.  That was my first Audi after converting from VW's, I've had a wide selection of MK2's Golf and Scrirroco's as well as Corrado's all of which I've loved but felt more at home in an Audi.  I've had a few FWD Coupes, a couple of B3 saloons and a B2 90 quattro which was great fun but too rusty for me to tackle myself.

I've now got a collection of four models as well as a run out spec 1992 MK2 8V GTI which will be going this year as I want to thin down not only my car's but also the hoards of spares I've accumulated.

I've had a 1995 RS2 since 2015, it's a one previous owner car with FSH from the same dealer from new, the last stamp in the book is on 97K miles and she's now on 102K. Aside from an MTM K26/7 done in Germany under warrenty from new the car is completely stock, it should produce around 380 BHP and 550NM which is quite fast enough for me.  The car runs perfectly and does drive though I'm currently keeping it safe in my workshop, there's no way I'd drive it on salted roads!

In 2018 I picked up a very tidy and well cared for 1992 C4 2.8 V6 Avant quattro which is now also living in the dry, I've done quite a bit of work to the old girl including fitting sports suspension from a 1997 30V car as well as a full black leather interior with walnut trims.

Around the same time a tatty but solid 1990 B3 80 came up for sale at a local breakers for just over scrap price, this was a winter hack for a couple of years before I sold it in 2020 only to get it back basically for free in 2022.  It's totally stripped out to make it as light weight as possible which make's it a bit more fun all be it very loud, I have an 06A 1.8T engine waiting to go in this one.

And finally I got given a 2000 TQS Avant last year by a customer who didn't want the car, it needed a new engine which I've since fitted and came with another complete engine and two set's of wheels.  I was going to break it but decided it was worth saving being a really high spec example with a good history, the original interior had been badly water damaged so I've converted it to full S4 spec black leather, blue weave carbon trims. the lot.

I've just gotten it running again for the first time since 2018 when the engine blew up due a blocked oil pick up, I still have the suspension and brakes to overhaul then the car needs a little bodywork, nothing serious, just some parking scrapes on the rear arches.

Unfortunately I was seriously injured back in 2021 which has meant I've had to become semi retired and progress on car's is slow going with only partial use of my left arm.  I'm currently awaiting surgery to correct some of the damage to my elbow, I'm hoping to get back to work properly once I've recovered from that procedure which I still have to wait another year for.

Right, I shall leave it there as that's a pretty comprehensive introduction!

Thanks Steve, yes I've more than enough to keep myself busy!🙂

I'll mainly be after help with B5 info as to me that's a new car, but once I've learnt to navigate my way around hope to be able to contribute myself.
