Recently purchased 2023 S Line, with just one key. Any ideas welcome for obtaining a spare. No luck with locksmiths so far; lack of reply as yet from local Audi.

I am under the impression that dealers are obliged to supply two keys per vehicle. Am I wrong?

Nevertheless if you want to purchase a key yourself there are plenty of car key specialists around who can duplicate your key. Try an internet search for your region.

Tried a few locksmiths who have either not replied or said it’s dealer only, looking to continue trying.

AA via Timpsons wanted £480 hence trying to sort elsewhere.

An internet search instantly showed me ten car locksmiths in the Cardiff area who serve the public. Many of them are mobile and will attend your home.

Expect to pay a few hundred pounds to a reputable company.

The recommended ones locally I’ve tried have all said refer back to dealer in view of model and age.

Might be worth popping into the dealer to see how much they will quote rather than email. At least that way they can see you and the car are genuine. You'll need to show them the v5 in your name if ordering the key.
