Ad blu top up

I have put 30 litres in and it hasn’t backed up or spilt anywhere but it hasn’t registered on the dashboard. It’s as though it’s not going in the tank

Hi are you sure, they never took thirty litres about 15--20 from empty hate to state the obvious but you have put it in the Adblue tank [BLUE CAP] and not the main tank if its gone in the right filler you have a major leak in the tank, there is nowhere else for it to go.

Steve.

Steve I know it only takes 17 litres from empty and that is why I am puzzled, confused and frustrated. No sign of it leaking out but it appears none of it has gone into the ad blu tank ( it’s not in the fuel tank and I did use the right tank). The car has a full belly plate and I am worried the filler pipe has become disconnected and the ad blu has crystallised under the belly plate. I can’t put it down to anything else

I suggest you take the plate down and look to be sure. If there is the slightest possibility Adblu has gone into the fuel tank your problems will multiply.

I have driven 30 miles since putting the AdBlue in so it hasn’t gone in the main tank but I don’t know where it has gone

C7 AdBlue tank is 17 litres. Normally the message will say top up 8 litres. If you’ve put in 30 litres, then it’s gone somewhere.
