Water Leak

Featured Replies

Hi. I have a 2014  Convertible A5 Recently after rain it seems a lot of water has got into the drivers front and rear footwells

I have looked but nothing is showing or seems obvious, I got my wife to spray water all over the roof side windows windscreen etc while i looked  inside  with a bright torch but could not locate the leak.

Any ideas please TIA

I did look at these and they were clear but someone has said it could be an ecu module located in this area that could be allowing water to get past it and leak in by the driving pedals

Thanks for the reply.

Hi did you use tap water because that won't work the surface tension is to high, ideally you need rainwater as that has a lower surface tension which creeps into any gap however small.

Steve.
