MMI and Bluetooth stopped working

Featured Replies

Not been here for a while. I have recently bought an Audi A4 Avant 2017 model. I was driving along nicely then the sat nav went off suddenly also the phones will not connect. Screen says "Your navigation system has not been activated yet. Pease contact your Audi dealer"...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The subscription to Audi services has expired, so you need to buy a new subscription from Audi.

Any Idea how much that's guna cost..I had a gut feeling it was a job for the Audi Stealership..😅

Latest, I renewed my Audi connect licence, £131 for 2 years. I contacted Audi UK services, they went through setting up everything including Audi connect. however it still won't connect to my Sat Nav or Bluetooth. The car thinks it's in Germany !!. They are looking into it next week. I also cancelled the trip to the Audi Stealership. They still wanted to run it on the diagnostics at £150. One of the Audi dealership techs looked into it they said one of the servers that Audi Connect uses was down and they have no Idea when it will be up and running. I am always sceptical when dealing with dealerships because of a bad experience I had at Mitsubishi years ago.

Audi Warrington: The car went in yesterday and they run it on their ODIS diagnostics, they refreshed the 5F module and updated the mmi soft ware, everything is back to normal. They also washed the car !!. Cost £150. not bad for a dealership. Apparently it took 1 hr. not a bad rate of pay IMHO. 😬

I bet it took longer to wash the car than it did to fix the MMI.

😂.. they put together a list of things that need doing.. mostly ware and tear.. £1600.. they said the under tray was scratched (really), brakes were corroded (rusty) cam belt needs doing in about 6000 miles etc..

I had the same last week with my car at a main dealer. I was told the battery was due to be changed, yet it is only five months old and perfectly good. I was told two tyres needed to be changed, yet a local tyre shop that I know to be sound said they were more than legal and refused to sell me new tyres.

Warnings of significant wear are all well and good, but to pervert those advance warnings to a need for immediate action is deception, to put it mildly, but typical of main dealers.
