Mass air flow sensor

Hello, was wondering if anyone can help, have a 2019 a6 2.0 and mass air flow sensor keeps popping up, I got the part thought it's easy enough to change but the sensor is connected to the air filter cover and I don't know how to separate it, on one side it has plastic clips going all the way around but they dont stay back and if i push too hard the clips will break, attached 2 pics

Hi I think you are suffering from the latest Audi bright idea, make the sensor and the filter cover one piece.

Thanks for the reply, I just spoke to audi parts team and asked them if its 1 piece but they said no its separate, can't find anything online for this car
