I had my 2.0TDi updated a few months ago and fuel consumption has worsened by 10% from 56-58 mpg to 52mpg.over 5000 miles.

this seems to be a recurring problem now! 

I'm assuming you've not seen the recent info in the motoring press about this? 

Of course At this time VAG are denying that the upgrade causes mpg loss.

See my comment on the other thread. Get  a stage 1 remap done on your car and forget about it.
