Hey guys,

 

just had a quick question

I have noticed that some mmi centre control are plain and some have silver strips across (see below). are they both touchpad? 

what are the difference?

Hi Jay,

I believe the one with the silver strips are preset push buttons only, and the one with out is a touchpad. Although I'm not 100% maybe someone can confirm this?

Agree with Tran$porter - The Touch Pads are backlit for button function - the bottom one has preset mechanical buttons.

is the MMI touchpad optional extra?

Touch pad came as an extra with bigger mmi screen with highier resolution
