Waterproofed the hood

Featured Replies

just finished the Autoglym treatment on the hood.

after the first proper rain since I bought the car the fabric was soaked, so;

remembered to cling film the windows before treatment.

washed & scrubbed with the cleaning fluid, dried off then treated with the proofing fluid.

Should be good for 12 months I reckon

Does anyone do this more regularly that 12 monthly intervals?

An add on to the above post;

My godson who has a thriving business valeting very expensive cars in the Cotswolds says; "always use Fabsil gold to waterproof the hood as it's the best".
