cool choice Steve, the poll was more for the 'balls-out' RS and homologated Audi's to start with and then was going to do a ...A3, A4, A5.... poll later :-)

Thanks! And fair doos lol. I wasn't aware of the new poll lol

How is the "Audi 80" not on the list. If it were not for the success of the Audi 80 with the advancment of quattro and success in rallying most of this list would probably not existed!

Audi 80 for the win 😊

I share your point Rob and I did tell Trevor of his grave error on the car list lol. However he said this poll is for the high performance Audis and he will be doing a new poll for run of the mill stuff later one ;)

Ok, so I have just voted for the RS6 from that list. There is something about that car that just amazes. However, Trevor Trevor Trevor, your title greatest Audi ever built!?! Audi 80 Quattro. It was such a controversial car in its day that changed the way many a car evolved throughout the decades. But, if the title said most awesome Audi, you vote would still be the RS6. 😜

Thier's two on autotrader at the moment but I haven't got tgat sort of cash lying about! 😭

lol I know that feeling! To be fair though I set my sights slightly lower at an a8 D3 w12 (like the one  in the Transporter films) but they're had to find in the right spec/colour and low miles!

Imagie the 6.0 TDI in an A3 quattro. Pretty sure it wouldn't fit without some crazy hocus pocus and even if you could would most likely be undrivable.

Well if I ever win the lottery and have money to burn I'll make it fit! 😂😂😂😂

The w12 lump is a beast 😊. Like in the Q7 if I remember right I think the 6.0 TDI is a w12 chucking out 750flb torque! 😊

Your right about the q7!

I tell you now by my reconing the money I'm spending on both my a6 and my Ford escort I could easily run an a8 instead!

Man a3 with a w12 now that would be something. You'd have to cut the engine bay and body to pieces though!

I tell you what mite be feasible with the right engineering and enough money! x2 2.5 TFSI lumps bolted onto a custom bottom end to make a v10. would still probably need to a lot of cutting still and a lot of custom parts but that would be sick! :yahoo:

Well that would basically be an R8 engine! :)

The v10 engine would fit in easier than the w12 lol

Lol, was just about to say use an existing VAG V10!

you will remember the plastic pig, robin reliant ? Do you remember the Kitten? A 4 wheel version! A friend of my Dads fitted a 3.5 Rover V8 to one. He said if it had wings he could he taken off!
