Terraclean or Engine Carbon Clean A3 2.0tdi

Featured Replies

Morning All,

Im new to the forum but not new to Audi having owned a few in the past. Recently just purchased a Lovely 2004 A3 2.0tdi Sport with 110k on the clock, Full Service History  and had a new Clutch & Flywheel earlier this year so i am rather happy with my purchase. Anyway, I had a Post from one of my Facebook Groups from a Company doing Engine Carbon Cleans, so thought i would have a look into them. I remember a few years ago that Wheeler Dealers did something similar with a Jag, so thought i would see if that was the same thing. Turns out good old Edd China used Terraclean, which i know is different to the Hydrogen Based Carbon Cleans that these companies are now offering. The Question is has anyone had either of these done on their car? And if so was there any improvements on Running / MPG?

Welcome to the forum Wayne :)

You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

I personally haven't had any experience with carbon cleaning but know a couple of people who had it done and seemed happy with the results. Itll just allow the engine to be abit more free and so should run better :)

hopefully some of our other members have had it done and may be able to advise further :)

Cheers

Steve
