  4. Or just buy 5litres Quantum Longlife 3 which is VAG’s own brand. I never extend oil changes out to c18k or 18 months, but change it annually if you do an average mileage. Quantum is available from a number of reputable EBay sellers. 5 litres will allow you to have enough ‘top up’ oil for hopefully a couple of years. Regards, Gareth.

  5. Hi Magnet, I’ve now told them I’m not going ahead with the deal, due to the V5 not been correct, hopefully I’ll get my deposit back 🤔 so I’m now on the look out for a A1 born in the UK 👌

  7. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up, as it could be an issue with the control module.

  8. The only thing I have had similar was that the cooling system was blocked on a 2017 passat, it ended up being the silika bag in the coolant bottle had burst, it blocked the matrix and the cooling system.
