The high pressure wash could force water past the connector seals and into the electrical connections on the cable and sensor. I’d want to disconnect each one and make sure it’s bone dry inside both the plug and socket, check there’s no sign of any residue, corrosion etc on the pins and socket at the same time. id wash the contact cleaner off sharpish too. They can leave a residue on plastics (cables, connectors, sensor case etc) that holds dirt and eventually damages the cable insulation. (Same with stuff like wd40).

I had a 2004 allroad running 18” wheels so bought a cheap set of 17” twin spokes for winter tyres (17s are a LOT cheaper) and used continental winter contact, saves on having to swap tyres and rebalance too. Pretty much unstoppable! Do miss that car! i generally use mytyres.co.uk to compare the specs of different tyres. think I’d defo go for smaller rims than 19” though. Not even sure you can get 45 profile winter tyres at 19”. Hmm. Hope this helps Dave

I’ve got a set four 17” Twin spoke alloys I need to get rid of as I want the space in the garage to do the canoe repairs I’ve taken on. They are in reasonable condition, ET25, pcd 5x112, 7.5j. One wheel has a small dent in the rim but it didn’t affect the tyre and was only noticed when I transferred the winter tyres off of these wheels. Ive got them on an eBay auction at £25 but I’m open to offers just to get the space.
