  1. Hi Andrew....welcome to the Forum Have you checked the fuel system (e.g. injectors) as if faulty they can give these symptoms?
  2. Hi Alex.....welcome to the Forum Good luck with the S3 mods and I suppose the visual mods are at least more sympathetic to the insurance approved mods rather than performance gains at this stage. Post up some pics when you carry out the mods Good to have you onboard
  3. How did you find sunny Dorset....lots of traffic I imagine?

  11. ...oh the good old days of points and condensors, usually adjusting the points every weekend to keep the spark 🙂 I too had a 74 Camaro LT350 but spent most of my time chasing it with a MIG welder. Also got bored with cars too quickly but have definitely slowed down over the years and just one every 2 years now I suppose. Well you've certainly ended up with a gem now....the A8 is a superb car and should hopefully keep you entertained for many years to come.
  12. Try this company....also based in Southampton https://www.catman.co.uk/
  13. Did you find out what it was ? I wonder if it could be something to do with transportation (such as a packing piece) and should have been removed on the Pre-Delivery Inspection...especially as it has only covered 4k miles.
  14. Oh now you are talking my kind of language.....had over a hundred old cars myself and loved most of them! I am uber-jealous however of the fact that you have owned a Lotus Carlton, Camaro and the Cossie ..... three very special cars indeed 🙂 The ones I regret selling are: Rover BRM, Mk2 Savage Cortina, PA Cresta and 71 Mustang....probably a few others I will think of later and then start weeping 😞 Feel free to post up any piccies of the previous cars if you have any
  15. Agreed, great blog site....thoroughly enjoy reading about different destinations to travel to and the list is growing every year 🙂
  16. Hi....welcome to the Forum First thought is whether someone has damaged the mirror from driving past and hitting it....may not have very noticeable damage but a closer inspection may find this to be the case.....worth a look to eliminate this theory Let us know what you find out to be the cause of the fault.
  17. I think a lot of members are shy when it comes to welcoming new members 🙂 Glad you've acquired a good one and reinforces this with a clean bill of health....Enjoy it !
  18. I've now changed the title of the post Gareth, makes it easier for anyone searching for information on this topic
  19. Hi John.....welcome to the Forum Just watched the video with envy....what a beautiful car...Enjoy! Cheers, Trevor
  20. You could try to get it welded solid (a few small plates to stabilise both halves) and then balance it with weights to compensate. A skilled mechanical/motor engineer could probably do it for you
  21. Hi....welcome to the Club Any questions, feel free to ask and hopefully we can assist where possible
