  2. Hi Julian.....welcome to the Forum I would advise taking it to a VW Audi specialist garage who can scan the electronic control units to read any codes and cancel them out or run a reset procedure (if possible) to extinguish the lamp but also to check the integrity of the SRS and make sure the car is safe to drive. Also, worth letting them check for replacement panels as would be cheaper than the dealer but if too expensive then maybe worth going through insurance for the whole package. Let us know how you get on with it all
  3. Hi....welcome to the Forum You could try a lower profile and better quality make of tyre which should provide a better grip...assuming its not too sandy on the road surface in Dubai. Good to have you onboard
  4. Seen displays playing up before but never seen one with a straight line before. if it disappears after time then it is a fault panel which does occur and can be rebuilt quite cheaply.
  5. Hi Nick...welcome to the Forum Hope you have many years trouble-free motoring with the A4 Good to have you onboard
  6. Wow! it looks in incredible condition for its age! I own a Z3 and I know what you mean....in fact I love the car but it does make me feel very old getting in and out of it nowadays 🙂

  10. Hi Sean....welcome to the Forum Hope you manage to source a nice RS4 with the budget, I'm sure there must be something half decent out there but be prepared to travel a distance if necessary. Let us know if you acquire one Cheers, Trevor
  11. Hi Ian...welcome to the Forum Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Audi before....hopefully the new one will enthuse you with the brand and give trouble-free motoring in the future
  12. Hi John....welcome to the Forum That is indeed what it sounds like, but at least I suppose if there is no damage and speeding tickets coming through then it is just one of those things to put down to experience and don't use the garage in the future. What would have been useful is if you had a mobile phone in the car as it would have tracked the journey on Google Maps which could have been interesting to say the least. Good to have you onboard
  13. Hi Steven.....welcome to the Forum Has anyone who has replaced the previous batteries said what was wrong with them (e.g. buckled/distorted plates, low on electrolyte, anything suggesting overcharging such as barrelled casing?). It could be that they have been using a faulty batch of batteries because unless a battery has been overcharged then generally they can usually recover from discharge and even sulphation with a decent battery conditioner being used to trickle a charge overnight.
  14. Hi Andy....welcome to the Forum Is this the current weather in Leeds? Bright sunshine in Bournemouth 😞 Good to have you onboard
