  1. Pleasure to be of help Nick, and good luck in finding the car a future caring owner. Kind regards, Gareth.
  2. Thanks Kevin, It would be worth reading the Moderator’s and Administrators’ post regarding responding to - and acknowledging the help given - on this forum. I thought my post on Friday, may have encouraged you to acknowledge the response posts, but it didn’t, and sorry but being subtle doesn’t seem to work. We trust you now get the point, and apologies for pointing that out to you. Sorry we now have to spell it out, but….. Kind regards, Gareth.
  3. Thanks Dan, So are you confirming you can indeed offer guaranteed Agreed Value cover- in the event of a total loss (as opposed to so called Market value) - for any car over one year old, and this cover can be obtained irrespective of the fact that that vehicle is the policy holder’s sole means of transport, and there will not be any mileage restrictions on the use of that vehicle? Kind regards, Gareth.
  4. Hello Nick, I have now amended the wording, and hidden the responses to date. Trust this is now acceptable, and the car will find a good home. Kind regards, Gareth.
  5. Hello Joel, Does the coolant temperature reach 90 within a couple to 3 miles, and always hold at that through the rest of the (longish) journey? Kind regards, Gareth.
  6. Don’t think it’s getting though!
  7. Strange, owners normally ask for/ are given a print out of the results. Make and age of battery as a matter of interest? If the battery is genuinely up to specification, then it’s possible the the instrument cluster is at fault. Kind regards, Gareth.
  8. Where have you looked so far Jim?
  9. You may also like to eliminate the simple things first, and replace the reservoir cap with a good quality new one. Kind regards, Gareth.
  10. What were the actual % efficiency and CCA value on Halford’s test Tim?
  11. Welcome Tim. First thing to eliminate is the battery. Suggest getting its efficiency check - Halfords stores will do that. If it tests substandard then please refer back to us before committing to buy - if you have any respect for your wallet. Kind regards, Gareth.
  12. Still not sure of the significance, but…
  13. Welcome David, Well worth looking up Parts in Motion website for parts. For suspension parts in particular, I would go with Febi brand. I don’t have any connection with P in M, except I buy most of my parts from them (mail order) and their service and prices have been great. They also sell on EBay - sometimes cheaper than their website. Perhaps you could let us know how you get on with your pricing. Kind regards, Gareth.
  14. Thanks, - not sure I’m understanding the significance. Simply change it as a process of elimination. Kind regards, Gareth.
  15. Possible starting-to-break-up-inside flexible hose??

Any answers for us yet Lee?
  17. Hello Danny, Wondered if you are going to return to the forum to acknowledge information passed to you? Kind regards, Gareth.
  18. I’m not worried about it Kevin! We are in a fortunate position here - we don’t have the problem, but we do do our best to offer advice to people like yourself when they request it. We can only hope it is appreciated, and good folks like you will express their thanks. Little ‘cost’ but it does give us the encouragement to carry on to help others. Kind regards, Gareth.
  19. OK. Next question. Have you picked up the phone and rang them?
  20. Thanks Bill, Try LLL website to see if you can obtain specific part numbers for your actual car. Appreciate trying all avenues is a must, but being realistic, you are on very short odds to hope anyone on here might have a complete new clutch assembly kicking about, but you never know. Worth giving LUK Technical a ring - they may just be able to provide you with the correct part numbers. Please let us know how you get on. Kind regards, Gareth.
  21. Thanks Bill, In your quest, have you picked up the part numbers you need?
  22. Welcome Gary, Yes, it does have a value. What that value is?? Let EBay decide, from a good description of the vehicle. Perhaps you can keep us informed of how you get on. Kind regards, Gareth. p.s. You are obviously welcome to place an advert on here - with photographs and full details.
  23. Welcome Bill, Have you tried EBay? Also worth trying Parts in Motion at Exeter. They are a large scale motorfactors and might well be able to help you, via. an on-line enquiry with your reg. number, or giving them a ring. Try to obtain a good brand - such as LUK. Perhaps you can let us know how you get on Bill. Kind regards, Gareth.
  24. Have you already done a Google search in your area Alex, and looked at their reviews? Kind regards, Gareth.
