Audi A4 2016 quattro Engine start system fault
Antonio. Did you get a printed test report on your old battery? Did you code the new battery to the car? Did you reset the error code via the OBD port? Did you get the charging circuit tested? Unless you did all those actions you may well be destroying your new battery, so please provide some answers.

Rattling noise when accelerating
Niso. Your mechanics can hear the noise; I can not so I really can not help any further. Note that people often post recordings of what they believe are strange noises, but which are rarely audible to us here. The human ear close to the car can become attuned to such noises and mentally filter out the background engine and road noise. We do not have that advantage so unless you can get a better recording it is doubtful we can do more.

Driver wing
I can not help with a source, but I am curious to know why you want a wing with original paint. Any secondhand wing for a car of that age is bound to have some defects that will have to be treated and painted, so why not go the whole hog and accept any colour?

Q7 Newbie
Sorry to read you have been sold a lemon Simon. It would have been better to return the car to the dealer as soon as the first injector failed, but it is too late for that now. I hope your luck improves. Have you tried wriggling the steering wheel to release the key? Is the gear stick in Park position, assuming it is automatic transmission?

Rattling noise when accelerating
Now that I can see thank you. That equates to 133000 miles, so to return to your previous question, yes it could be timing chain. The only way to be certain is to open the chain cover and inspect the chain tension and the condition of the chain tensioner.

Rattling noise when accelerating
Odd. I see nothing except a full stop. Can anybody see a response or is there something peculiar about my computer?

Rattling noise when accelerating
Not that I can see. Please point me to your answer.

Used Q3?
Sian. Were the above replies of any help to you?

Rear Light Square Bolt Damage
This only re-inforces my low opinion of Halfords. A bunch of clowns they were in the past; a bunch of clowns they still are.

Obd for 2024 plate
Andy. For the sake of clarity please amend your profile to show the correct date of manufacture, so that others seaching for any related problem can find it.

Obd for 2024 plate
I have read that OBD11 is the best, but not being a user of such things I suggest you wait for confirmation from somebody more knowledgeable than me.

E Tron GT Brakes Hoses
There was a recent topic on the matter in this forum that would be worth searching for.

Speed Camera Alerts
Nothing has changed. The big red signs at the start of a restricted zone, and the smaller repeater sign within it, are still the only official indicators recognised by law. All one has to do is watch for them.

E Tron GT Brakes Hoses
A recall will undoubtedly mean many people are wanting those hoses at the same time so I am not surprised they are out stock, though sensible planning for the recall should have ensured enough were made available beforehand. Am I being unrealistic to expect common sense from Audi?

Speed Camera Alerts
The simpler solution is to stay within the speed limit.

Timer Belt Failure at 54k miles
Paul. Your experience demonstrates the drop in quality standards at Audi that has become evident to many of us at the forum over the past few years. Whether this is the result of the diesel emissions scandal or just the routine interference of the bean counters I do not know. Do you know if the belt that failed prematurely was wet or dry? Wet belts have become popular amongst manufacturers recently, but they do seem to fail unpredictably, unlike the older dry belts.

Strange Suspension Creak/Knock when pulling away and stoppi
Glad to hear the problem has been resolved, and presumably quite cheaply.

Rattling noise when accelerating
If it is the chain rattling you can continue to drive it if necessary. Of course it will be doing more expensive damage to the engine if you do so, but it will not result in a complete and sudden failure of the engine. It would help if you answered Steve's question: how many miles or kilometres has the car done.

Audi A4 2016 quattro Engine start system fault
Kwikfit has one of the worst reputations in the business. Better to go to a proper garage, preferably an auto electrical place, which will have the expertise to do a deep discharge test on the battery.

A3 1.0 tfsi engine
An internet search showed several independant Audi garages in the Dumbarton/Glasgow/Clydebank area. Have they all refused to take on the job? (Note that I would not recommend an affiliated Audi dealer.)

Still nothing unusual to hear unfortunately.

Transponder replacement and reprogramming
Have you looked at Ebay? I see many new and secondhand fobs there, though I have no idea what is involved in adapting them to your car.
