Speed Camera Alerts
Nothing has changed. The big red signs at the start of a restricted zone, and the smaller repeater sign within it, are still the only official indicators recognised by law. All one has to do is watch for them.

E Tron GT Brakes Hoses
A recall will undoubtedly mean many people are wanting those hoses at the same time so I am not surprised they are out stock, though sensible planning for the recall should have ensured enough were made available beforehand. Am I being unrealistic to expect common sense from Audi?

Speed Camera Alerts
The simpler solution is to stay within the speed limit.

Timer Belt Failure at 54k miles
Paul. Your experience demonstrates the drop in quality standards at Audi that has become evident to many of us at the forum over the past few years. Whether this is the result of the diesel emissions scandal or just the routine interference of the bean counters I do not know. Do you know if the belt that failed prematurely was wet or dry? Wet belts have become popular amongst manufacturers recently, but they do seem to fail unpredictably, unlike the older dry belts.

Strange Suspension Creak/Knock when pulling away and stoppi
Glad to hear the problem has been resolved, and presumably quite cheaply.

Rattling noise when accelerating
If it is the chain rattling you can continue to drive it if necessary. Of course it will be doing more expensive damage to the engine if you do so, but it will not result in a complete and sudden failure of the engine. It would help if you answered Steve's question: how many miles or kilometres has the car done.

Audi A4 2016 quattro Engine start system fault
Kwikfit has one of the worst reputations in the business. Better to go to a proper garage, preferably an auto electrical place, which will have the expertise to do a deep discharge test on the battery.

A3 1.0 tfsi engine
An internet search showed several independant Audi garages in the Dumbarton/Glasgow/Clydebank area. Have they all refused to take on the job? (Note that I would not recommend an affiliated Audi dealer.)

Good news.

Audi A4 2016 quattro Engine start system fault
Do please let us know the outcome in case further investigation is needed.

2.0 TDI rattle sound
Still nothing unusual to hear unfortunately.
-
Transponder replacement and reprogramming
Have you looked at Ebay? I see many new and secondhand fobs there, though I have no idea what is involved in adapting them to your car.

My A6 parking sensors finally fixed by new dealer
Thank you.

France Crit air 2024 update
Well I hated the Boulevard Periphique anyway, so no loss to not drive there again.

Audi A4 2016 quattro Engine start system fault
I repeat: get the battery professionally tested.
-
2.0 TDI rattle sound
Sorry Luriy, I do not not hear anything unusual.

What bhp to expect.
In other words he can afford to thrash it because he did not pay for it.

Audi A4 2016 quattro Engine start system fault
Sorry Antonio. I mistakenly omitted the word "not" from my previous answer, which I have now amended. You should not rely on a voltage reading to tell you about the battery health because the load imposed by a simple meter is only a few milliamps, which is not enough stress to show up internal faults. Professional testing should impose a load about 100,000 times a multimeter (i.e. about 200-300 amps which is what a starter motor draws,) in order to truly stress the battery.

What bhp to expect.
It's not the heater failure causing the power loss. It's something more fundamentally wrong with your car. Can you exchange it for the better car?

Used Q3?
Sight of a full service history would be essential to my mind, particularly as Quattros get thrashed more than most cars,

Water in boot cavity
Thanks for that information. I would never have imagined that such a vent existed.

s1 washer jets headlights
Sorry but I don't understand any of that statement. Please explain. As Magnet mentioned earlier, can you hear a pump operating when pulling the stalk?
-
Speed Camera Alerts
That's ironic given that speed cameras must by law have roadside signs giving drivers advance of warning their presence and be clearly visible.

My A6 parking sensors finally fixed by new dealer
It's good to hear Blackburn Audi gave you good service and can be recommended. Please now tell us which Audi dealer let you down so badly. Please keep the reply strictly factual.
- Any recommendations for brake pads and discs?
