  1. Hi Michael, you can't go wrong with a straight through stainless system. With some companies such as power flow you can choose the sound of the exhaust to a degree as it is down to the baffles they use in the exhaust backbox. To stay on the right side of the law and to prevent your insurance from being nil and void I would keep your cat on. It would only give you an extra 5bhp if you took it out. Plus I would suspect if you removed the cat you would have a light come on the dash. So you would probs have to have it slightly remapped. Hope that helps :) cheers Steve
  2. It will also go on the condition of the vehicle. I.e. A poorly serviced car will not be as good as one that's never missed a service. The remap will have more effect with other mods such as straight through stainless exhausts, upgraded manifolds, induction kit and upgraded turbo for example. Did you have it on a rolling road before and after remap? Cheers Steve
  3. Welcome to the forum :) you got any other mods on it? Thats not bad mileage btw
  4. I would imagine the grills are a straight swap but I'm unsure about the badge. Are you intending to fit any other s6 goodies or lower it?
  5. You do right putting the miles on the company car! Let the A6 have a pampered life! ;)

  9. Welcome to the club from a fellow newbie. Sorry to hear your having issues already. Has your car had an oil flush? I had an issue with my diesel A6 where it said low oil pressure. Flushed the system and put in new oil and it was ok. I believe the "oil pressure low" light and "oil level" light are different. Hace you got a picture of your dash and light which may help the more experienced members on here? Hope you get to the bottom of it soon. Cheers Steve

What make are the wheels? And is the car lowered?
  20. To all c5 owners, has anyone read in their owners manuals that the c5 airbags need to be replaced once the vehicle reaches 14 years old. Has anyone else seen this in their manuals and is there any risks if the airbags aren't replaced? Has anyone replaced them? Cheers Steve
  21. Your welcome :) let me know if I can be of any further help :)

Depending on size and type of wheels you'll need wheel spacers :)
  23. Hello Mark, welcome to the club! Sorry to hear your having issues already! Hope they get sorted soon :)
  24. Hi Gareth, I find the merc seats very comfortable. But like I say you'd struggle fitting 5 people in the a class with the Amg sports seats fitted. My dad has a e class and I too find that comfortable especially as we do a 8 hour trip to Northern Ireland each year. In comparrison I found the a 3 seats less comfortable and did have some back ache on a 2 and half/3 hour journey from Leicester to Luton airport. But to be fair I do suffer from back issues (after causing damage to it). Cheers Steve
  25. Welcome to the club Paul :) I would have to agree with Bradley and don't think the a7 is an old mans car! :)
