Certainly not cheap cars! I find their insurance argument abit odd to be honest. As I say working in the trade previously I have never come across that before. But maybe it's a new practice. Keep us posted on how you get on. But as Gareth has said I feel it is an issue seen across a lot of main dealers around the country

The prejudging of people in the motor trade is rife, I can say this as iv worked in it. The one thing i learnt is you can't judge a book by its cover which this sounds like what Audi have done for what ever reason. What were the 2 Audis you wanted to test? Cheers steve

Hey Mark, abit random but I know some other members have fitted touch screen radios bought from eBay that have apps etc and have paid around £400. They have said they work really well :) Might be worth looking on there :) cheers steve

Oh no! Sorry to hear you've found more faults Craig! I'm unsure if they're connected to be honest. But I would say it's cheaper to replace the switch first rather than the abs pump! Then again the abs pump will need to be replaced so in order to pass an mot. (I'm assuming the abs light is on).

Sounds like you've got a good deal there Graham, abs you've clearly done your homework! :) with regard to the dpf I believe it has not yet been included in the mot but there are talks of bringing a test in to make sure it works etc. Let up know how you get on as I'm sure other members will be interested :) cheers steve
