  1. Exactly! That's what's stopping me from going.
  2. Right, we are less than 2 weeks away! And I need to know numbers on who's bought tickets. If we haven't got 5 cars then I don't think we'll have a display! :(
  3. I do hope so! Because if it goes bang then: 1. I wouldn't know what to replace it with. Probs a c6 Le Mans estate or dare I say it a merc e class! 2. I couldn't bare to part with it and I'd have to decide either to scrap or put a new engine in it. I'd probs choose the latter to be honest! My lips are sealed. You'll know on the day! :)
  4. Hmm, I'm unsure then. The Le Mans edition ran right through to production end in 2011. The Le Mans had different suspension, wheels and body kit to the s line. The Le Mans also had reverse camera and button closing boot. As well as everything else being electric. But like I say if it was a Le Mans there should be badges on the boot to say.

Your most welcome, glad I could help :) like I say the Tuner should tailor the map according to your car and your requirements :) cheers steve
  6. Sorry to confuse you more. If it's a Le Mans then it will be badged accordingly. I suspect it would be down with your insurance company as a Le Mans too. What does your v5 document say?
  7. I'm the same! I like to be different! To be fair though I keep the Audi standard as it stands from the rest due to the mileage. By the way I'm in the process of sorting out goodies for the show. But I can't promise anything at this stage.
  8. Steve Q replied to Dan 1987's topic in Audi A4 (B8) Forum
Hey Dan, I'm assuming your car is currently standard? If so and your going for a stage 1 remap then the Tuner will customise the map to suit your car. They do this as each car is different due to age, mileage and the way it's driven. If tou combine the map with a sports exhaust and induction kit the standard clutch will still be fine :) if you were going for mega power then you would have to get an updated clutch and even an updated turbo. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
  9. Lol the problem is, once youve got the modding bug, it's hard to stop at just 1 car! My old daily got modded despite having my old Ford escort as my toy! Iv decided not to modify the a6 though as my dad bought it new and want to keep it how he ordered it. Bar fitting some stickers here and there. I maybe inclined to fit s6 brakes if they'll fit behind the stock competition wheels.
  10. Welcome to the forum oscar :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Mans I'm sure someone will be able to help :) iv also moved this topic to the a3 section to make it easier for members to find. cheers steve
  11. Hey Mark, you are correct, the Le Mans edition had lowered sports suspension which was lower than the s line model. If it were me I'd fit the suspension from a Le Mans edition as you'll get the improved handling and lowered car :) obviously you have other options such as coilovers which make the ride very hard and low. It all depends on the type of roads you drive in daily. Like I say if fit Le Mans suspension if it were me :) Iv also attached some pics of lowered a6 c6 which I found on google images :) cheers steve
  12. lol that's true! My family would kill me too! I did think about it but like you say if I break it then I'm stuffed for work!
