  4. No worries :) if it's been done at s private garage the service won't be on he Audi system. Dont worry, there's no such thing as a stupid question :)
  5. Your most welcome :) Is it a 1 owner car from new? If so, chances are it's been serviced at the main dealer who supplied the car in the first place. They would be my first port of call :)
  6. Hey Joe, is the service history from Audi? If so Audi will have a record of it so you can ring them and check :) and your correct the waterpump needs to be changed at the same time as the belt :) oh and I believe the belt should be changed around 80k. Cheers steve
  7. Nice try Dan but unfortunately wrong lol
  8. Welcome to the forum Jeffers :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) i believe the engine holds 4.6 litres of oil. And normally a long life oil is used. Please see the attached link. I appreciate its for the 1.8tfsi Audi A4 but it may be useful to you :) http://www.audi.co.id/etc/medialib/ngw/sea/id/product/technical_data/pdf.Par.0001.File.pdf/audi_a4_1_8_tfsi.pdf cheers steve
  9. Welcome to the forum Joe :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) glad your pleased with your a3 :) it looks lovely :) it's certainly a change from mx5s and certainly an improvement on the Kia! by all means get involved :) we try and get the club as active as possible :) we have various events coming up and your more than welcome to display your a3 on the club stands at the events :) cheers steve
  10. Wow! That's a big forum! To be fair fishing is popular. Thats fine, just thought I'd offer :)
  11. Your welcome :) I think your right. As the car loosens up a little, then the mpg should improve :) thank you :) we try and managed a friendly and easy to use forum but again it wouldn't be the same without the members input :) what forum are you an admin of? I see your in the midlands. I'm assuming the East Midlands? I ask as we are attending vag Tuner Live at donington park on Sunday 16th July and your more than welcome to join us and have your a6 on the club stand :) Cheers steve
  12. Welcome to the forum Nick :) youll find members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) the a6 is a lovely car :) id say the best mpg you'd get is around 50mpg personally. Cheers steve
  13. Whoop whoop! Heres the next one
  14. Correct mark! :) erm wasn't it in a hitman movie?
  15. Right. My tickets came today! :) your pack should contain: 1. Yellow wristband (one per ticket purchased) 2. Red VIP entry wristband(one per ticket purchased 3. Exhibitors vehicle pass (this will hook on your interior mirror) 4. Event information leaflet 5. An invoice of what you've purchased. Cheers steve :)
  16. Keep persevering, you'll get it sorted :) the a5 is a lovely car :)
  17. How was the egr cooler Matt? Did she throw any codes up for that? Hopfully it gets sorted soon :) cheers steve
  18. Your welcome :) glad we could help :) i find it's usually sensors that go rather than modules or relays. Sensors can be sensitive (sorry no pun intended). If the relay had failed then in my opinion you wouldn't have the fan working at all. Cheers steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Pawel :) sorry to hear your having issues. You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) i would say the sensor is playing up as the temp gauge is working normally. cheers steve
  20. That's true! You can't beat better brakes! And rather you than me! Thats true! The electrics can play havoc!
  21. Welcome to the forum Damian :) sorry to hear your having issues. As you've seen the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) cheers steve
  22. This 1996 Audi A6 2.6 is owned by fellow member Sam1977 who lives in Gibraltar and who has kindly allowed me to share the image on this topic. He is the second owner and the car has covered 250,000kms!
