HELP

started having some issues and need help been reading loads of posts now second guessing myself. My issue stated with rear electric window not working so investigation reveals nothing broken, at this point I thought it must be the motor so replaced this and the the window worked. Issue now was no central locking on this door, now again also no electric window

what or where do I need to look at I see no obvious issues although not looked at wires from door pillars s I have no idea what wires to check I just know if it goes in the garage it's going be a cost i can't afford at the moment

Hi Julie....welcome to the Forum

I think the easiest method to check where the fault lies is to wiggle the wires within the loom that goes from the pillar into the door while someone holds down the window or locking switch. When the motor works then you know that's where the fault is (either poor connection or broken wire).

Let us know how you get on with it

Cheers, Trevor

Got no joy there my could it be inside the door somewhere it just seems weird that it's started to go wrong

would an auto electrician be I good option or an expensive option

As niedzial1983 has stated, using VCDS would be the best place to start, so you may be best to find an auto-electrician who has the kit and know-how, and should then be able to go straight to the fault.
