S4 B7 front caliper. Looking for less heavy caliper
XPtuning replied to XPtuning's topic in Audi Recalls
Of possible, move it to Audi A4 (B7) Forum. Thank you. -
Sorry pal I am sure you can find it on YouTube at least you’ve an idea what the issue is!

Hi Steve, thanks but I think they’re not sure about A3s on there.

Hey all. Hope it's ok to ask for a bit of help here?! I have a 2018 S4(B9) but have developed a fault with my air con. The code I got was B109207 so believe the motor has gone duff with my air con recirculation flap motor. I do also have another fault code which is B11AF07 "Fresh air door motor mechanical malfunction" but not sure if they are linked but 2 motors failing at the same time would be mighty unlucky. If I were to buy a new motor and fit it, is there someone in the central Scotland area that can help me recode/activate it using VCDS as my Carly scanner can't do that. I begrudge going to a main dealer as they charge so much for what I think is a simple job. Cheers, Chisy

2010 A3 S3. No start amd sudden shutdown when hot

Hello everyone - I'm in the market for a B8 Allroad - there arent many out there to my spec, petrol, auto, preferably with dark interior. I'm not too bothered about external colour. I've got £7.5-8K to spend. My real question is about audio systems - particularly Bluetooth audio. In my 2007 A4 Convertible I bought a module that plugged into a spare port in the glove-box that enabled BT audio, I think it was spoofing the CD Changer? What are the options on a 2009-2011 spec Allroad? (Thats the age that comes up within my budget). All the cars seem to have different options, and hardware in the dash. (Im trading in my W204 C250 CDI, which has a USB powered 3.5mm jack plug BT module, that is the minimum want - I really dont want to have an AUX lead - in fact, my phone no longer has a 3.5mm jack plug! Cheers me dears. J5C

My apologies, I thought it was the rubber bits for your trolley jack you was after.

Instrument cluster failure is well known on the 8p. If you've bought it from a dealer then get it back to them asap.

Please keep us posted on how you get on

My brother and friend have used powerflow exhausts and been happy with the results.

Alternator failure related to mild hybrid system?
Audi Death Trap replied to PocketsAintEmptyCuh's topic in Audi A7 Club
My own dealership actively distanced themselves from Audi and appeared concerned they wouldn't be paid for extended warranty work. As a result all my negotiations went through Audi Executive Office as the dealership stepped back. I had to pay the full cost up front. Some of the cost was reclaimed through a third party warranty before Audi finally took my complaint seriously. -
So, update on the gearbox issues. It’s been very intermittent. Done it on Thursday and has been fine since. At mechanics here. Said it could be the gearbox oil needs changed as it’s approaching 70k miles. I told him I changed the oil at 65k but just got it at the motor factors. He said that may not have been the right oil and always goto Audi. Got a long wait as the won’t give me a courtesy car 😢

A6 3.0 TDi How to remove connector on coolant level sensor?
Cantata replied to Cantata's topic in Audi A6 (C7) Forum
Thanks Spartacus, it was something like that! The tag on the underside of the connector has to be pulled outwards, it simply bends a bit and detaches a tiny latch inside. Awkward little blighter but all done now, contacts sprayed (they looked a bit green) and problem has gone away. -
As would be air filter changes.

Ideally need it sorting ASAP, definitely can't wait 4 months for a response. The water could get into the wiring loom etc and render the car worthless. Thanks

Q5 - Stop/Start system fault + brake servo restricted
Pauline S.S. replied to Pauline S.S.'s topic in Audi Q5 Club
@Steve Q will do. Asked for a call tomorrow morning stating my worry about ABS. Thankfully I’ve not long to wait for the diagnosis / Tuesday. -
Sounds like it's that then.

After a few minutes, car beeps at me and the clock turns off
Steve Q replied to eemew57's topic in Audi Q2 Club
Glad you've got sorted 🙂 maybe the MMI needs an update? -
Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Looks lovely 🙂

Thanks Gareth, I had the connector under the driver's see replaced just last year. That's why I thought I might have caused it disconnecting and reconnecting the door motor. Will try the spray as you suggest. Will also ask the local garage to run a fault diagnostic.
