Audi S6 track car build
So the seats look like they're from an allroad. The wood is darker than mine. Sorry to hear the ECU is missing. Hope it's found soon!

Which VCDS Kit?
Single VIN is £169. If you have other Audis or VWs (works on Skoda, SEAT, Bentley and Lamborghini) then 3-VIN version is £222. You get different bundles. Get one with a plastic box, as the brains is the USB Hex-2 cable, so it keeps it safe. Order from Gendan. As mentioned - lifetime updates for the VCDS software. Occasionally the dongle hardware needs updated too. Regards the air-con flap, then scan car first to determine if it's motor or linkage. Either way you're going to be stripping down. Once you have an ID you can search YouTube to get location. Suspect it's not programming as such, but adaptation procedure once the new software is installed so everything works in sync.

MMI and Bluetooth stopped working
I bet it took longer to wash the car than it did to fix the MMI.

MMI and Bluetooth stopped working
Audi Warrington: The car went in yesterday and they run it on their ODIS diagnostics, they refreshed the 5F module and updated the mmi soft ware, everything is back to normal. They also washed the car !!. Cost £150. not bad for a dealership. Apparently it took 1 hr. not a bad rate of pay IMHO. 😬

Which VCDS Kit?
Hi there is only one VCDS, I would recommend the single VIN version if you intend to keep the car, the OBDEleven is a lot cheaper but of late I have found this system will do what you want but only if you have the Pro subscription which is over £100 a year therefore the VCDS represents better value as once purchased its yours with free updates. Steve.

audi a6 avant 2009 gearbox issues juddering violently help!
Zac. It is not advisable to buy secondhand gearboxes for a car of that age, unless direct from a transmission reconditioning company. They will all be worn or damaged no matter what the seller tells you. Before buying any more gearboxes I suggest you get the car onto a diagnostic code reader to find out what is wrong. It may be that repair of the existing box will be cheaper than a reconditioned one or the purchase of another car.

audi a6 avant 2009 gearbox issues juddering violently help!
Hi, I have a 2009 Audi A6 Avant TDI with a gearbox code LDQ. I'm experiencing a problem: in second gear, the gearbox jerks and judders violently when I accelerate. Once I reach around 40 or 50 mph, it smooths out, but at lower speeds, the jerking is really noticeable, even audible from the sidewalk. I recently tried to replace the gearbox, but the seller failed to mention it was already broken. I reinstalled the original gearbox, so the car moves, but now I’m stuck. I can't track down the correct gearbox ratios or exact code. The Audi dealership won't provide details unless I buy from them at an extremely high price. All I know is that the sticker in my boot lists the code as LDQ, but when I try to buy one, they insist I need the exact ratios to match. I have no idea how to confirm this before buying a used or reconditioned gearbox. I’ve uploaded pictures that show the car is in quite good condition; the previous owner looked after it well, and I’ve done some maintenance myself to keep it in a good standard. Unfortunately, this gearbox issue is putting me in a limbo—whether I should scrap the car, which I really don’t want to do, unless I can find an economical solution to fix this problem. Hopefully, someone here could help me or guide me in the right direction. I would hate to get rid of this car, as the condition is quite good. The mileage is only 111,000, which I’m told is not much for a car like this, and I bought it to transport. a disabled person and there wheel chair about, many thanks for your time and advice
