A6 2014 auto avant sline ultra P20E8 AD blue fault

Hi 

i am looking for some help/advice. I recently purchased the above car privately roughly 6 weeks ago. My car is displaying ad blue system fault no restart, even though i have topped up the ad blue and there is enough solution in. The car is currently with Audi and they said the ad blue liquid is fine they have tested it but it needs a reduction pump for the delivery unit and the cost will be just short of £1,000 supplied and fitted. Im gutted to say the least as I have only had the car a short while and it is a lot of money to pull out. Any help or suggestions appreciated before I agree for the work to be done 😞
