I currently have a 3.5yr old A4 avant, 272bhp 3.0 TDI S-line with most of the extras available at the time. I really love the engine, both powerful but equally can be frugal, returning 50mpg when driving sensible. 2 dogs, no children.

my partner likes the car but moans that it’s low down, “dropping Into the seat” or “having to climb out”. I sometimes tend to agree with her. We’re both around 5ft 10.

I’ve started to look for a new Audi which would offer the power/economy but is “higher” off the ground, but struggling to find anything in the Audi stable. I’m thinking SUV, but can’t find anything comparable in performance/MPG. Have I missed anything?

The only 4 options you have is the a4 allroad, a6 allroad, Q2, Q3, Q5 and Q7 I'm afraid.
