Door card insert removal

I was wondering whether it's possible to remove inserts of the door card. I've put grey alcantara seats and I am wondering whether I should buy alcantara door cards and try to remove the alcantara part itself and add it to my existing door cards. (I don't want to put grey plastics, only the alcantara itself)

I've found no tutorials, so any info would be appreciated!

By chance I have my door card off at the moment so just looked... it's 100% glued. You can see that if you take the silver metal trim off.
