Hello Michael,

Probably a silly question to ask, but you have renewed the fob batteries in recent times?

Also ‘stranded’? Does the car have key opening locks?

Kind regards,

Gareth.

If the key fob has a conventional key attached somewhere you might find the key slot is hidden on the drivers door handle behind a cap.

If you've got aa or similar recovery it might be worth giving them a call.

Their is a key inside the fob but when you use the key the alarm activates. You can't start the car as it's push button start. It works the next day so i don't think its the batterys.

Is it happening with both keys or just one?

If it's both abd you've changed the batteries then there could be an issue with the imobiliser etc and it might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out.

Cheers

Steve

No need for diagnostic then Michael. Hope you didn’t use a Poundland type battery!

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Got car started the next day and it's been ok fingers crossed.

Glad it has. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check to see if there are any stored fault codes.
