Hi, I have a switch on the door (inside) of my recently purchased 2017 A1 for folding in the mirrors electronically.  Does anyone know if the key can be configured to automatically fold in the mirrors when locking?

If it can be done, then I think the setting can be found in the cars infotainment system. 

Thanks Steve. I’ve had a look and can’t see anywhere in the system to enable this. 

It might not have it then but I bet it probably can be retrofitted. 

You can buy an aftermarket kit to replace existing with folding mirrors and the UK based company I looked at  would also do an installation service.

I decided  not to bother too expensive and too far from me. I would think the wiring loom already includes for them but couldn't find out for certain.
