Hi, recently bought a audi a6 sline Quattro 17 plate. It doesnt have USB connections just the audi mmi port. 
 

i emailed audi about a update and nav update but was informed wont be until early next year.

has anyone been able to get carplay on the a6 without the usb ports?

I have the same problem, no USB port only Audi mmi (2017 model, no tech pack). 

Have you maybe tried the mmi to USB cable? If yes, does it charge phone as well or is it only for data transfer?

Hi , I have an A7 2017 no tech pack. It’s frustrating how CarPlay it’s not standard on such expensive vehicle. 
Jpmc, did you manage to speak with Audi about the upgrade that should have take place this year?
