Reversing Camera or Rear Parking Sensors???

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm currently exploring whether it's worth retrofitting either of these to my A3...any suggestions/thoughts on which of these would be more straightforward to fit.

Any suggestions?

Ideally the system will be fully integrated to the MMI.

Cheers.

Ouch…that’s steep!!!🥴

Can anyone recommend alternative aftermarket rear parking sensors?

I've successfully retrofitted aftermarket rear sensors on a number of vehicles over the years, its a fairly simple process to measure out and drill the 4 holes with the cutter provided, making sure there is nothing behind the rear panel/bumper beforehand. They all seem to take a live lead from the brake cluster for the the supply and there is a beeper to fit somewhere in the boot area. They are not expensive and freely available from Fleabay, Amazon etc. The sensors require colour matching and are just popped into holes.
