drivers electric window problem 2006

every couple of days my window on drivers side acts up goes up then drops 4" anyone had this issue and how they fixed it please

Hi its probably the lift mechanism/regulator box, strip it out and replace, but before going to that trouble check the wiring in the rubber boot between the door and the body as you could have a broken wire or corrosion in the connector block

     thanks for your reply mate  is it an easy job or coplicated as ive been do i need special tools  with thanks mate 👍

    It's a case of removing the doorcard which is crewed a d clipped in. Then Inspecting the mechanism to find out which part has failed. No special tools required.
