Hi All 

I am looking to buy a Mk3 (late 2016 to 2018 trying to avoid the majority of the additional new price tax) TT convertible preferable the 240bhp (45) or the TTS I am researching the options but any advise that may help me decide would be appreciated. 

I will use the car mostly for trips to Europe and weekends away.

I'd recommend watching YouTube videos and buyers guides. 

Service history is key, should be full. Check for evidence of oil changes on gearbox and quattro system. With quattro make sure tyre brands/tread match on the same axle as uneven tyre wear can damage the quattro system. 

Make sure all electrical items work as these can be expensive to change.
