Audi A3 engine stalls and nothing on dashboard

Featured Replies

I have a very strange problem. I have Audi A3, 1.4 tfsi manual, 2011, engine stalls on a cold start. Nothing on the dashboard seems to be an electrical problem. Vcds scan shows no fault codes. Anyone got the same problem? Any solution?

Could it be an issue with the maf, crank sensor, lambda sensor or cam sensor?

I appreciate in theory a code should flag up.

Indeed though no 😕 fault codes 😔 mate ...

You imply that there is no stall on a hot start. Is that correct?

Indeed only on cold start when you switch on the car, after a while car stalls on the red light. It switch on again and works without problem. I am not quite sure if temperature is crucial. It appears to be on summer time as there is very hot here in Greece. This is an empirical notice.
