My son just got his letter from Audi today to advise his (2 month old) Audi S3 has been recalled. Apparently some switch may not have been assembled correctly that could lead to total electrical failure

it is booked in, however earliest our audi dealer can check it is over two weeks away. They say if the switch/connecter has the fault, it could lead to total electrical failure although braking and steering won't be affected.
