Hi all,

Have an issue with black smoke until 3k when full throttle then it is grey smoke all the way until redline 

I should say too that it feels like it is choking itself and the power gradually picks up at around 3k rpm

I've checked egr and for splits in any intercooler lines 

Starting to think turbo could be the issue

Any ideas?

Could be. Or dpf? 

Have you done a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?

It’s all guess work of course, but possibly injectors - ? 
Probably cheaper in the long run to get a trusted local diesel specialist ( as opposed to ‘ordinary’ garage) to have a diagnostic look at it. 
Perhaps you could let us know how you get on.
