Audi RS6 Avant

Hello Audi owner club.

This is my first posting and last of 2023.

Look forward to contacting you all again in 2024

I have a 2003 Audi RS6 Avant with a bit of an engine knock believe to be bottom end (but not sure).

is there anyone in or around Coventry (CV4) that would advise and hopefully help me sort out, as I’d love to get this beast back on the road and use it for what it was designed to do, drive it like I stole it.

Happy New Year to everyone in the Club and hear from you in 2024

Welcome Mark, and best wishes to you too for the coming year.

Would I be right in believing that you are looking for advice on getting your engine sorted - obviously by a company who has the machining capabilities to recondition the worn parts?
If so, based on the car now being 20 years old, it would be fair to claim it comes under the heading of a ‘modern classic’, so advice on localish engine machine shops is likely to be available via. a local ‘all makes’ classic car club.
Have you considered a secondhand engine as an option?
Kind regards,

Gareth.
