what should I do?

I have inherited this vehicle on my drive following the theft of keys  , 3 attempts to re code keys have failed and the most recent has left the vehicle completely immobilised with windows halfway down.  Here it has sat for months!   A friend has suggested it could be a doer-upper for someone with the time and resource to get it back on the road (and a vehicle carrier with hoist!)  while I think that if 3 attempts to recode have failed , it is time for the scrap dealer  .  Despite 95k mileage, The car seems in reasonable condition and is still dry inside albeit as well as the key issue, the last recovery has damaged both front tyres and the rear ones look barely legal

So does it have any value ?  Is there a market for this kind of recovery project?  I would appreciate an owners view before I do something rash?

Welcome Gary,

Yes, it does have a value. What that value is??
Let EBay decide, from a good description of the vehicle.

Perhaps you can keep us informed of how you get on.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
p.s. You are obviously welcome to place an advert on here - with photographs and full details.

Thanks very much folks, really appreciate your time and suggestions,  Yes it seems that listing as spares/repairs is a viable next step.. Thank you again

Gary

Well the cheapest 2014 one on eBay is £4k. So at least that'll give you some idea.  It will also depend on spec. You could push £3k in the hope to get £2-2.5k at a guess
