Audi App Notifications

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if you can set the Audi app to send you a notification if the car alarm goes off or something like car is fully charged.

As it stands I get no notifications or sound notifications on the Q6 app.

Anyone able to advise.

This is what I've found on Google:

Audi app notifications can keep you informed about your Audi's condition. You can manage your Audi app notifications by following these steps:
Go to the Overview homepage
Select the menu icon to open the account settings menu
Tap Notifications
Select the vehicle you want to edit
Tap on any feature to edit it
Turn notifications on or off for that feature
Choose a sound for the notification

Hi John

On my app I have a "All Functions" feature. Tap there and I get Theft and Location. Tap there and status image appears. I don't know what happens next if there is an alarm or attempted theft.

I think your phone should have notification settings you can enable for the MyAudi app too.Screenshot_20241123_124941_Settings.thumb.jpg.924ea76827b05e571cfe5f38f720bcfd.jpg

Also under Account in App settings you'll find a section for Push Notifications you can enable for the app.

It is setup for notifications on the phone.

Nothing in new app to setup send notifications?

I have v4.28 MyAudi with Push Noticiations present in App settings

OK, so you get notification if the car is unlocked etc?

So far i dont think Q6 sends notifications like RRs to say you forgot to lock etc. It confirms action in app if you ask to lock or unlock for example but no seen anything outside of that.

So the important things like door left open, car not locked etc does not get sent.

So what does the app send when it works?

My previous Kia EV6 did all this and more, told you 10 minutes before fully charger, when fully charged, car not locked, door left open or alarm sounding.

Would appear despite all the publicity of how good Audi MMI system is, it is not really as Kia appear to do things better.
