Featured Replies

Hi Guys ,I have a problem with my A3 saloon 1.8 Automatic 2014 when I am pulling away the vehicle judders at slow speed.

I am not sure what is causing the problem but from what I am reading its sound like it could be gearbox

the vehicle has covered 71,000 miles from new.

Can anybody help please

Many Thanks Ron

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

This could be an issue with the clutch pack (similar to a manual car) but you could also look to see when the gearbox oil was last changed and get that done as it can make gears smoother.

Obviously you can't also rule out issues with driveshafts.

In addition to Steve's comments, it may also be the Mechatronic unit within the gearbox, which was a source of problems in earlier A3s.

I suggest you it diagnosed at a Audi dealer or a VAG specialist.
