Evening all and Merry Christmas.

Not my first Audi (TT Roadster) but just returned to the brand with an A5 35 TDI S-Line. My Passat CC did 196k miles so we will see how this one gets on.

This is also my first switch to an automatic - feel like I'm getting old! 🙂

Cheers, Alan

What has getting old got to do with it? I was 29 when I got my first automatic and I would never return to a manual box. I don't understand why anyone would want to wiggle a metal pole sticking up from the car floor just to make it move from A to B, as if he was stirring a pan of porrige.

I always preferred "driving" the car my way but I suppose if you've been driving an automatic for many years it just becomes second nature. So far I'm enjoying the experience.
