Hi all

big thank you to all that read this ,I have a 2020 q2 sline 35tfsi I desperately need to know how to turn the volume on my indicators up it does make a clicking noise but it’s not loud enough so any help would be appreciated thank you 

I am not sure that is possible. There is a legal requirement in what used to be the Construction and Use Regulations for the indicators to be clearly audible, so I doubt the volume would be adjustable by a user.

Can you tell us why you want to turn it up? Do you have a hearing problem? Is there other noise in the car drowning out the indicators?

Hi mate so Much I appreciate your reply yer my hearing isn’t great but my wife has great hearing see says the same yes bad when the radio/blower motor can drowned the indercator click 👍

I have the same problem mate and you're right, it is really annoying. My hearing's got worse over the years and my wife is constantly telling me I'm still indicating, unfortunately she doesn't have a volume control either.

Strangely this week for a very short time,  the indicator click was noticeably louder. I cannot establish how this happened.  It was useful to hear the indicator.  It is too quiet. But I have no idea as to how and why it became louder

How odd. 

I guess, and it is only a guess, is that the indicator click is from an electric sounder of some sort, rather than the noise of a relay as used to be the case years ago. In theory therefore it should be possible to make an electric amplifier or fit a louder sounder. I have never come across such a thing so it would be worth your while researching availability.
