cursor-delta0g Posted Wednesday at 08:51 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:51 PM Hi TPMS seems to have got itself stuck with the front tyres, inflated to 2.6 bar but the TPMS is registering 2.7 O/S AND 3.8 N/S. It does change so it’s not "stuck" but the baseline seems to have gone awry. it’s a recent problem since the hot weather (coincidence?) Initialising the system doesn’t seem to correct it. The rear tyres register fine at 2.4 bar. It’s just an annoyance with the ‘beep’. Is there a sensor in each wheel that needs replacing ? Thinking just wait and see until normal weather returns. anyone experienced this before with their TPMS? Marty
cliffcoggin Posted Wednesday at 09:38 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:38 PM Somewhere in one of the menus there should be an option to reset the standard or baseline setting. Don't ask me where as I don't know the A8.
cursor-delta0g Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Hi cliff yes i know how to reset the tpms. What’s failing is that it seems to register inconsistent pressure on the front tyres, both set at 2.6 bar but TPMS is reading way above this.
Steve Q Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Definitely could be a sensor (or the battery in the sensor at least). A diagnostic check would tell you.
cursor-delta0g Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago Interesting, does each wheel have a sensor and battery?
