Please keep us posted on how you get on. Let's hope it does fix all the problems

I hope so as these problems are stopping me from enjoying the car.

This is what is being updated, may help others,image.png.c68b76eb8cda2e54066ba7e857ea0e63.pngimage.thumb.png.f6547d72787c444962724ef1d730e709.png

To let you know you can tell if you have the update.

On the MMI screen the rear heater icon has changed and now shows the rear screen and the wing mirrors in the icon instead of just showing the rear screen.

Just to add, the update has not solved my boot opening issues so thats one fault not resolved.

Thanks John,

So what are they going to do about that?
It’s quite possible it’s a ‘real fault’ rather than a software issue.

They claim they can not reproduce the fault despite me showing two different members of staff, showing videos etc, they claim the car shows no faults so they are clueless as to what to do to resolve the issues.

This is the issue, if the car does not tell them they are clueless to what to do.

No longer are they mechanics etc, they are software engineers and unless the car tells them what is faulty they can not resolve the fault.

The last time the car went there was over 200 reported fault codes, forgot to ask how many this time.

The new Audi Q6 and A4 are sadly not fit for sale and anyone who is looking to buy either should run away.

Can not wait to get rid of the car.

Many thanks for sharing this. My vehicle is currently back in with the service centre to fix the growing list of faults, not many of which appear in the list above unfortunately. Do you happen to know what the version number of the software is?

I don't sorry as the only thing I was sent was the list, your know when the update is done as the MMI main screen logo for the rear screen heater icon changes and shows the rear screen and the wing mirrors, this is a way to tell you have had the update.

No problem, thank you!

The service centre has completed the software upgrade on my Q6. For reference, I believe the version number is 03.10.00/C (previous version on my vehicle was 03.01.00/C).

Great, let me know how you get on as my traffic signs are now working correctly.

Will do! To be honest, my setting off routine has involved turning off the recognition/warning alarms and lane guidance altogether, so I'll see how it performs when I get the vehicle back (they're keeping it overnight for further testing).

I received my vehicle back today from the service centre. There is still no fix available for the charging issues (they've noted on the invoice that Audi is working on a fix for Q4 this year).

Traffic sign recognition seems to work ok, but admittedly I never actually noticed many issues with that previously as I usually turned it off before starting a journey.

They appear to have removed the Audi store and the ability for the car to connect to a Wi-Fi network, unless I'm being a bit thick but I cannot find the options anymore.

I've noticed a couple of glitches with Android Auto not populating the side/task bar (a grey bar shows in its place). Restarting Android Auto solves the issue.

I can no longer set up my phone as a digital key, which is really frustrating. Following the necessary steps, the myAudi app just reports "Connecting failed due to a network error". I've tried it in different locations to ensure the phone and car have mobile data coverage but to no avail.

The traffic sign issue was if you use the adaptive cruise control it would read wrong speeds and either make you speed up in an area you should not be so you would have to take over or worse it would make you do 30 MPH on the M25 at random times nearly causing vehicles go into the back of you.

So, it seems the issues I mentioned above were purely down to a glitch in the new software, I assume. I ended up setting up a new myAudi ID, using a different email address, and reset the car to factory settings.

Sure enough, the Audi store, Wi-Fi option, and a few other bits all of a sudden reappeared! I was also able to set up my phone as a digital key. I noticed they've reintroduced the sharing option for the digital key, so I'll test that out later today with my wife's device.

Are you getting notifications now if you do not lock you car or the alarm goes off, do you get a message sent or like me can you only see this by logging into the app?

No, I don't get any notifications. It displays unlocked in the app but no push notifications.

Thank you.

So after 1 year this still has not been resolved.

Interesting thing I got told today, saw another owner who says the only way they have been told to get push notifications is to keep the app open in the background on your phone.

They have been told it will then send push notifications.

Anyone else found this works?
