Just to introduce myself.

I am on my second Audi A4 the first being a B7 quattro present is a 2016 estate both 2.0 TDI. I have always done my own maintenance once my cars are out of warranty. I have always tried to understand my cars maintenance needs and have the VAG diagnostics which helps. My latest has all the whistles and bells and so far has shown itself unreliable with niggling little faults cropping up. Look forward to Audi sorting the latest fault. On the plus side the wife managed 70+ miles per gallon going down to the isle of wight. The build quality of the new car is not a patch on the old one which was solid. The bonnet on the new car is flimsy as i found out when washing it, seems as if all new cars are being built down to a price these days. My neighbor has just got his new astra estate which is really nasty, not even a bonnet under blanket and loads of little weak bits of plastic everywhere. My first ever car was a ford anglia so here I am showing my age.

Love reading the posts.
