Steve Q
Welcome to the forum Sasikumar :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) have you tried replacing the batteries in the key fob? In failing that have had a chance to reset the te keys? it clearly sounds to me that it is a key issue and not a central locking issue as you are able to unlock the doors from the inside. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
Dan3222
My car does this, I have to press the key fob once to unlock drivers door and twice quite quickly to make it unlock the rest of the doors. Yours could be the same.
niedzial1983
You can change that by pressing CAR/central locking. It lets you chose what door to opens
cliffcoggin
Niedzial. You may be able to on a A6 but it can not be done like that on a A3.
cliffcoggin
Sashi. Your key is behaving normally. You do not have a fault.
Lanky111
Got this from the Ross Tech site - might need VCDS to change the setttings of the central locking - Selective Central Locking active (Single Door Locking)Selective door locking will typically default to the driver's door and is most common per the factory configuration. Turning OFF selective locking should enable all vehicle doors locking/unlocking unless configured otherwise in the DIS/MFA or respective adaptation channels. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A3/S3_%26_A3_Cabriolet_(8P/FM)_Tweaks#Alarm.2C_Locking_and_Coming_Home

niedzial1983
To recode with a VAGCOM Single Door Unlock 46 – Cent Convenience 07 - Recode The single door unlock give an even number i.e. 00064. To make all the doors unlock with one press, just add 1 i.e. 00065

Sorted :) Hi mate I seen that your sorted. However, what year is your car? The reason I ask is that as mentioned about the function to change the behaviour isn't on the MMI on an A3 but can be changed with the menu operated from the wiper stalk. Just a thought 😊.
