Door puddle/floor lights - neither working

Featured Replies

Hi All,

having seen those led puddle lights on fleabay I realised I had never seen any light emenating from the underneath of my doors.

I checked today and yep, there are underdoor light modules on each door but neither illuminate!

I don’t have the upgraded LED package, so am unsure if the front footwells should also be illuminated and are also faulty / not programmed to be on.

Question:

Whats the best easiest and quickest way to check that they are meant to be on & should my footwells also be lit up when getting in and out?

cheers 👍🎯

They were on but really dim.

Turned up the welcome lights via the MMI.

STILL LOW LIGHT WHEN ON HIGH!

So buying the Audi upgraded LED puddle lights.

Changed all 4 door puddle lights to the Audi rings - bought from Audi via eBay for £50 per 2 pack.

Highly recommened over the factory fitted puddle lights.

i brought the sline ones, done the front 2 fine but lost the cable back up in the door on my rear one, will need to take door panel off the retrieve the connector lol thats a job for spring or summer
