Why has the Audi A4 convertable 2ltr tdi im looking at got a Saab engine ???. Confussed ???

As a guess i would say the original engine broke beyond repair and someone has some how fitted a saab engine, i may be completely wrong but thats my guess

Grrrr dealer had wrong picture on his web site. No wonder i was confussed.

Glad it's sorted Tommie. I can confirm that there was never an engine sharing agreement between the VAG group and Saab. Saabs engines were old designs if I recall and the 1.8 petrol was loosley the same engine as was in the triumph dolomite Sprint!
