No problem Joel, Doing a coolant flush is certainly going to introduce more air into the system. Changing the cap will eliminate that as a possible offender. Never carryout two changes at the same time. If you do, you won’t know which of the two was the culprit. Always change one thing and test. Kind regards, Gareth.

If you believe the performance to be sluggish you would be better advised to have it checked before throwing money at an unproven gadget.

Hi, well done, a lot of that is accumulated rust and crud from the block, I would recommend a complete drain down of the system and a refill with good quality antifreeze to prevent it happening in the future. Steve.

Hi steve, i flushed the heater with water for about 10min, there a lot of dirt comming out the heater, you can see on picture, so after 10min it comming clear water from heater, and connect everything and thats fix the problem, now i have hot air on passenger side also, so that fixed the problem thanks a lot.

Thanks for the response. I decided just to remove the badge and see what happened. If I destroyed the grill I would have more motivation to fit a new grill. It’s turns out that I was able to remove the grill and replace with black Audi rings bought from eBay. The black rings from eBay did seem as if they were genuine as they had proper Audi branded packaging… who knows if they were still fake though. The badge fit perfectly and I’m so glad that I didn't need to buy / fit a new grill 🙂

Apologies for the gripe, but the forum has recently suffered from a spate of what can be termed ‘Post and Run’ new members, who seem to think it’s perfectly acceptable to post a plea for help, and simply not return to view the help given.
